Job summary

Cinder, based in NYC, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic enterprise customers and implement our safety platform in real-time. You will drive adoption of AI-powered protection, diagnose safety issues, and collaborate with customers and agencies to ensure robust, scalable results.

You will thrive in a fast-growing SaaS environment, partnering with enterprise teams, applying safety engineering know-how, and shaping how AI safety is delivered across large platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, SE, IS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Forward Deployed Engineer or similar in fast-moving SaaS.
• Strong safety engineering/operations background.
• Proven ability to partner with large enterprise customers.
• Familiar with AI/LLM-powered tools and safety workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to implement Cinder.
• Drive adoption of safety measures at large platforms.
• Diagnose and solve safety problems with tech and strategy.
• Serve as SME on Cinder platform for customers and agencies.
• Address technical challenges with engineering/product teams.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to triage feedback.
• Contribute to growth of Engineering and Customer Success.
