Job summary

Avery Dennison seeks a Technical Sales Manager – Intelligent Labels to lead technical pre-sales for the Walmart Enterprise account from Bentonville, AR. On-site/hybrid setup supports collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role demands 5–8+ years in RFID/IoT pre-sales or solution engineering, deep RFID knowledge, and strong stakeholder engagement with PLM, R&D, and integration partners to translate needs into scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in technical pre-sales, technical account management, or solution engineering driving RFID/IoT/sensor/automated supply chain solutions.
• Deep subject matter expertise in UHF RFID, sensor technologies, ARC testing protocols, and software/data platform integration.
• Demonstrated paired sales experience (Commercial + Technical) with ability to educate stakeholders on technical value.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the technical authority educating Walmart, Sam’s Club, and supplier teams on RFID capabilities and use cases.
• Co-develop enterprise account strategies with the SAM and own the technical sales lifecycle to scale pilots to enterprise deployments.
• Co-create PoC frameworks and business cases showing ROI to expand adoption.
• Serve as voice of the customer by feeding product roadmaps from field feedback to internal teams.
• Ensure deployment quality across ecosystems of converters, vendors, and integrators.
