Job summary

Sentara Health, an enterprise healthcare provider, seeks an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen recovery capabilities across cyber, technology, and operations. You will partner with Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity to validate recovery readiness and drive measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes governance, playbooks, and executive reporting while enhancing backup strategies and third-party resilience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of IT program or project management experience.
• Five+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of ransomware-resilient recovery and immutable storage concepts.
• Experience planning or supporting disaster recovery tests and exercises.
• Ability to connect technical recovery to business outcomes.
• Strong project coordination and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication of risks to technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support development and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resilience Program, including governance and procedures.
• Identify and map Critical Business Services across people, processes, technology, data, and third parties.
• Define and validate recovery objectives and minimum service levels with stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and document resilience assessments and disaster recovery tests.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates, and actions through closure.
• Enhance backup and recovery capabilities (Rubrik, Azure, SQL, Veeam).
• Improve ransomware-resilient recovery and secure restoration workflows.
• Develop isolated recovery environments and automate restoration testing.
• Coordinate tabletop exercises and disaster recovery activities with multiple teams.
