Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with 12+ years in Aerospace & Defense Quality.
• Proven track record leading quality outcomes on DoD/federal programs from first article to production.
• Executive-level briefings and stakeholder influence across senior leadership.
• Cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Program Management.
• Experience building or maturing a quality organization and scaling processes.
• Deep knowledge of QMS, supplier management and requirements flow-down.
• Familiarity with AS9100D, AS9102, ISO 9001:2015 and related standards; US Person per ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~25 quality engineers and set enterprise-wide quality strategy.
• Owner of product quality on defense hardware programs from first article to production readiness and government acceptance.
• Manage nonconformance, CAPA, material review and root cause closure with customer-facing impact.
• Serve as primary quality interface with customers, DCMA and government representatives.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma to improve yield, cycle time, and cost of quality.
• Oversee enterprise QMS compliance across U.S. entities and certification maintenance.
• Develop and mentor geographically dispersed team and scalable processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to embed quality gates in schedules and changes.
• Provide executive-level briefings on quality performance and maturity.
• Travel up to 25% domestically with occasional international travel.
