Job summary

QinetiQ US seeks a Director of Enterprise Quality in Franklin, MA to lead quality across hardware and services, reporting to the VP of Contracts, Supply Chain and Quality. The role oversees major defense programs, ensuring compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001 and CMMI guidelines while driving enterprise-wide quality maturity.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Program Management, building scalable processes, mentoring a dispersed team of ~25 quality professionals,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
12+ years in Aerospace & Defense Quality in hardware manufacturing.
Experience leading quality managers and engineers.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise quality across hardware production and services.
Own production quality through first article inspection and readiness reviews.
Manage nonconformance, RCAs, and corrective actions.
Interface with customers, DCMA, and government representatives.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Manage QMS, certifications (AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, CMMI-SVC ML3).
Develop and mentor a distributed quality team across sites.
