Director of Enterprise Quality & Configuration Management
We are seeking an accomplished Quality & Configuration Management leader to provide enterprise-wide leadership for a growing aerospace and defense organization supporting both hardware production and services. This is a highly visible opportunity for a leader who can deliver results across critical defense programs while building the people, processes, and systems needed to strengthen quality across the organization.
How a Successful Leader Will Make an Impact:
- Lead the enterprise Quality & Configuration Management function, establishing strategies and processes that improve product quality, compliance, delivery performance, and operational consistency.
- Oversee production quality activities including first article processes, production readiness, acceptance testing, process control, yield improvement, and ongoing program delivery.
- Direct nonconformance, root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement efforts to prevent quality escapes and reduce the cost of poor quality.
- Establish and maintain effective Quality and Configuration Management practices, including audits, certifications, configuration control, engineering changes, deviations, waivers, and product traceability.

What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 12+ years of relevant Aerospace & Defense Quality and Configuration Management experience, including significant leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading quality on a DoD or federal program through qualification/first article activities and into production delivery and Government acceptance.
- Strong manufacturing and operational quality background, including nonconformance management, corrective action, process control, supplier quality, and Quality Management Systems.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and change management for hardware programs, along with strong knowledge of AS9100D, AS9102, and applicable Government quality requirements.
This is an on-site leadership opportunity in Massachusetts with domestic travel and occasional international travel as required.
