Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership across a large portfolio of municipal, industrial, and federal projects. You will shape governance, standards, analytics, and talent to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

You will advance digital transformation by modernizing controls platforms, workflows, and reporting, while expanding automation and AI-enabled forecasting across the enterprise. 50% travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
Establish controls for design-build and other delivery models across portfolio.
Strengthen budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and change management processes.
Develop leading indicators, dashboards, and insights on margin, cash flow, and risk.
Lead modernization of platforms, data, and reporting with automation and AI.
Set scalable document and data controls for projects and programs.
Collaborate with executive leadership and delivery teams to improve outcomes.
Lead talent development and build a high-performing enterprise team.
