Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise governance, processes and analytics for a large portfolio across municipal, industrial and federal clients. You will guide design-build and integrated delivery, strengthen cost/schedule controls, and drive digital transformation and AI-enabled forecasting enterprise-wide.

The role requires 15+ years in project controls, a Bachelor’s degree, PMP/PgM, and the ability to travel; 50% travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; 15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
Establish controls for design-build, CMAR, and integrated delivery models.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, and scheduling.
Develop leading indicators, dashboards, and actionable insights for margin and delivery risk.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms, automation, and AI-enabled forecasting.
Establish scalable document and data controls for enterprise projects.
Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to improve profitability and outcomes.
Develop and mentor schedulers, cost controllers, and document control professionals.
