Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead enterprise project controls across a large, complex portfolio for municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This role will shape governance, platforms, workflows, and analytics to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

The candidate will drive digital transformation, develop talent, and partner with leadership, operations, finance, and legal to improve project outcomes. 50% travel, hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 15+ years of related experience.
• PMI-PMP or PgM certification preferred or required.
• Experience leading project controls for large, complex portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, and governance.
• Lead integrated design-build/alternative delivery across portfolios.
• Strengthen cost, schedule, and commercial controls with analytics.
• Develop dashboards and predictive insights for performance.
• Champion digital transformation and automation initiatives.
• Establish document and information controls across projects.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to improve profitability.
