Centene Corporation seeks an experienced privacy, security, and risk professional to serve as a trusted advisor between EPSRM and enterprise stakeholders. You will translate complex regulatory and contractual obligations into practical operational controls and governance across business units and supporting technology environments.

The role requires 5+ years in privacy/security/compliance within managed care, with strong knowledge of HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years privacy/security, risk, or compliance within the managed care, payer/health plan industry.
• 3+ years identifying, analyzing, and communicating control requirements in health plan operations.
• Experience translating regulatory/contractual requirements into operational controls and remediation strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with executive communications and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EPSRM and business areas to translate requirements into governance activities.
• Conduct impact analyses and facilitate cross-functional working groups for regulatory changes.
• Provide risk-informed guidance balancing compliance with operational realities.
• Identify and remediate privacy, security, AI, and business continuity risks and gaps.
• Support regulatory audits, evidence collection, and assessment readiness.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and stakeholders to update third-party agreements.
• Maintain program governance structures and executive communications on status and risks.
• Monitor industry and regulatory trends to anticipate future requirements.
