Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced advisor for Enterprise Privacy & Security Risk Management to translate complex regulatory and contractual obligations into practical controls across business operations and technology environments.

You will partner with legal, procurement, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure audit-ready compliance, manage risk, and support business growth while balancing operational realities across diverse Health Plans and technology teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in privacy/security, risk, or compliance within managed care/health plan industry.
• 3+ years identifying, analyzing, and communicating security or privacy control requirements in health plan operations.
• Experience translating regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements into operational controls and remediation strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with executive communications and risk assessments.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH, state privacy laws, AI governance, and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EPSRM and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of privacy and security requirements.
• Conduct impact analyses on new requirements and drive cross-functional initiatives to maintain audit-ready compliance.
• Translate contractual and regulatory obligations into actionable guidance balancing compliance with operations.
• Identify and remediate risks, gaps, and compliance issues across privacy, security, AI, and business continuity.
• Support regulatory audits, readiness reviews, and evidence validation to demonstrate compliance.
