Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Principal, Portfolio Management to lead the implementation, adoption, growth, and ongoing management of our Digital Assessment Library for enterprise accounts across education, healthcare, and government. You will advise large institutional customers, drive retention, and collaborate with Sales, Product, Training, and Marketing to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management, customer success, enterprise account management, consulting, or related roles.
• Experience managing complex enterprise customer relationships.
• Financial acumen, with experience building compelling business cases, assessing ROI, and translating strategic opportunities into actionable investment decisions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary program lead for a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive sponsors and key decision-makers.
• Lead account planning activities to support customer success, retention, and financial growth.
• Manage end-to-end implementation and onboarding of enterprise customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely and successful program delivery.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and customer adoption metrics.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Analyze usage patterns and feedback to develop adoption improvements.
• Support renewal planning and long-term account strategy development.
• Conduct account reviews and business health assessments.
• Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
