Job summary

SPHERE Technology Solutions is seeking a Platform/Implementation Engineer to lead hands-on deployment, configuration, and validation of SPHEREboard in enterprise environments. You will collaborate with Implementation Manager and customer teams to move projects from discovery to production readiness and handoff.

The role requires strong Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, PKI, and networking skills, plus experience with SQL Server, scripting, and customer-facing delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Windows infrastructure engineering or administration.
• Experience with enterprise deployments and customer-facing projects.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration, IIS, .NET hosting.
• Familiarity with identity technologies such as Entra ID, LDAP, Okta.
• Experience with PKI and certificate management.
• Strong networking, DNS, and firewall troubleshooting.
• Scripting for automation (PowerShell); Bash/Python a plus.
• Experience with bank-style change-management processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and validate SPHEREboard components and integrate with enterprise data sources.
• Lead customer workshops and status calls; communicate risks and blockers clearly.
• Gather requirements and ensure readiness of servers, service accounts, firewall rules, and certificates.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end across identity systems, networks, databases, and services.
• Develop SQL queries and data mappings to support implementations and validation.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation and runbooks.
• Provide customer administrator training and knowledge transfer.
• Report status to the Implementation Manager and stakeholders.
