Job summary

SPHERE Technology Solutions is seeking a Platform/Implementation Engineer to lead hands-on deployment, configuration, and validation of SPHEREboard in enterprise environments. You will collaborate with the Implementation Manager and customer IT teams to move implementations from discovery through production readiness and handoff.

The role requires strong Windows and SQL skills, experience with Active Directory, PKI, and network troubleshooting, and comfort working directly with customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Windows infrastructure engineering or administration across enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying, integrating, and supporting enterprise software in customer environments.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration, IIS/.NET hosting, Linux/UNIX familiarity.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, and identity concepts.
• Knowledge of PKI certificates, DNS, and network troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
• PowerShell scripting for automation; Bash/Python is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and change-management processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and validate SPHEREboard components within enterprise environments.
• Coordinate with Implementation Manager and customer teams to follow project plans and security requirements.
• Gather requirements and confirm readiness of customer servers, accounts, firewalls, and certificates.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end across identity systems, networks, databases, and services; escalate with evidence as needed.
• Develop SQL queries, data mappings, and validation summaries for acceptance.
• Create, update, and share implementation documentation; train customer admins and provide knowledge transfer.
