Job summary

Mercedes-Benz USA seeks an Enterprise Technology Architect to own the CodeCraft platform across MBUSA, MBFS, and NAFTA entities. You will define the technology stack, runtime patterns, IaC, and security controls while prototyping with engineering teams.

You’ll drive observability, cost engineering, and automation, balancing central standards with entity-specific needs in a hands-on, cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing platform architectures for multi-entity environments.
• Ability to define cloud-native runtimes and IaC patterns with security in mind.
• Hands-on capability to reviewTerraform and platform code with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own CodeCraft technology reference stack including JVM/Node runtimes and Kubernetes patterns.
• Architect cloud-native runtime delivery, Helm, and multi-account segregation.
• Design infrastructure as code architecture and reusable blocks.
• Define platform SDKs, templates, and developer guidance.
• Lead security-in-design practices and governance across the stack.
• Collaborate with MBUSA/MBFS teams to align platform standards.
