Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a PC Deployment & Migration Technician in Springfield, MO for a 6+ month contract-to-hire with a major insurance company. You will deploy, image, configure, and support Windows laptops/desktops, perform hardware refreshes, migrate users, and verify apps in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

You'll work in person at the location, supporting MS 365 apps and MFA, with asset management duties and strong customer service. Travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in desktop support, deployment or workplace technology.
• Experience deploying Windows 10/11 workstations.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID and MFA.
• Familiarity with laptop imaging, software deployment and endpoint configuration.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel between office locations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Windows laptops and desktop computers.
• Perform workstation replacements and technology refresh activities.
• Image, provision, configure, and validate new devices prior to deployment.
• Migrate users to new laptops, including profile configuration and connectivity verification.
• Assist users with login issues, MFA enrollment, password resets, and workstation access.
• Validate functionality of business applications after device deployment.
• Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other productivity tools.
• Coordinate hardware distribution, collection, shipping, asset tracking, and inventory management.
• Document deployment activities, issues, and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Provide white-glove end-user support during migration events and cutovers.
• Assist with printer, peripheral, docking station, monitor, and mobile device setup.
• Support office relocation and site migration initiatives.
• Maintain asset management records and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Escalate technical issues to engineering or infrastructure teams as required.
• Participate in migration planning, staging, and hypercare support.
