Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 8+ years of patch management or security engineering.
• Deep knowledge of patch management; experience with WSUS and SCCM.
• Experience supporting audits in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise patch management strategy and schedules.
• Architect large-scale patching using WSUS/SCCM and reporting.
• Lead response to critical vulnerabilities with rapid assessment and rollouts.
• Manage patch exceptions, risk acceptances, and noncompliance reporting.
• Coordinate with vulnerability management, security, and IT teams.
• Design automation and baselines to improve patch success and consistency.
• Publish executive metrics on patch compliance and timelines.
