About the Role

The Enterprise Onboarding Specialist is the senior client-facing execution seat on an enterprise onboarding program. Specialists report to an Enterprise Onboarding Project Manager and cover the programs that Project Manager is assigned to, carrying the day-to-day delivery work that makes an enterprise implementation land.

This is client service at a different altitude than a standard build queue. Enterprise programs do not follow one standard path. Broker-dealers carry special enterprise agreements with their own behavior, their own compliance route, their own go-live mechanics, and their own rules about whether you work with the advisor directly or through the home office. Volume arrives in waves rather than as a steady queue. Reporting on where every advisor sits in the pipeline is something FMG owes the client contractually. And the home office is in the room, which means a casual answer on a call can become a precedent the company has to honor across thousands of accounts.

The Specialist owns the repeatable workflow and the client-level delivery tasks inside that: structured client calls and the documentation that follows them, intake validation, ticket creation and updates, coordination with design, front-end development and fulfillment, compliance submission, domain and go-live, and clean handoffs. The Project Manager carries accountability for the program and the home office relationship. The Specialist carries the work, and carries it well enough that the Project Manager trusts the job is done right.

What makes this role senior is judgment. You will hit situations no SOP covers, on accounts where the cost of guessing is high. We are looking for someone who knows the difference between a decision they should make and one they should elevate, and who writes down what they learn so the next program does not start from zero.

Compensation This position offers $24.00-$33.00/per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

Program Execution

  • Carry the day-to-day delivery work across the enterprise programs your Project Manager is assigned to.
  • Move accounts through the full build pipeline: discovery, design selection, initial build, client review, work orders, wrap-up, compliance, domain, and go-live.
  • Validate intake, questionnaires, and client data.
  • Write clear, complete tickets to design, front-end development, fulfillment, and follow them through rather than handing them off.
  • Track the per-client and per-broker-dealer differences that govern each program, and apply them correctly without being reminded. You should be the expert in the mechanics of your builds and in each client's specific rules.
Client Communication
  • Run structured client calls at the firm and advisor level: kickoffs, site reviews, and status conversations.
  • Support the Project Manager in home office meetings when necessary.
  • Keep clients informed proactively, especially when something is late or blocked.
  • Produce consistent, standardized notes, and follow-ups after every client interaction.
Compliance and Launch
  • Prepare and submit content for compliance review through each broker-dealer's process, and manage the rejection and resubmission cycle.
  • Anticipate the common failure points and catch them early rather than at launch.
  • Chase stalled compliance cases directly with the reviewing party when a queue stops moving.
  • Coordinate domain and go-live, and confirm the outcome rather than assuming it.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate, current status on every account you touch.
  • Document what you learn about a client, a broker-dealer, or a process, and put it where the team can find it.
  • Contribute to the SOPs and playbooks this function is building, and follow the ones that exist.
  • Flag gaps between what a client was sold and what is being delivered.
Judgment and Escalation
  • Handle the situations no SOP covers, and know which ones are yours to resolve, and which belong to the Project Manager.
  • Raise risks early and specifically, with the detail needed to act on them.
  • Knowing the difference between an in-scope request and a product request is an important part of the position.
AI-First Expectation

The Enterprise Onboarding Specialist is expected to actively use AI tools in their daily work, for research, documentation, client communication, data validation, and problem-solving. FMG is building an AI-fluent organization, and every team member plays a role in that. In this seat that means using AI to produce meeting notes and follow-ups, to draft and refine client communications, to check data before it moves downstream, and to get to an answer about an unfamiliar broker-dealer process quickly.

On enterprise programs the judgment is the job. The time these tools give back is time returned to the client conversations and the careful checks that actually require a person.

What You Bring

We are looking for an experienced client service professional who is ready for enterprise-level work.

Experience and Background
  • Several years in client service, account management, onboarding, or implementation, ideally in financial services, wealth management, insurance, or SaaS.
  • A track record of carrying a book of client work independently and reliably.
  • Experience running client-facing calls on your own, including calls where the news was not good.
  • Familiarity with website build, digital marketing, or platform implementation work.
  • Experience in a compliance-governed environment is a strong advantage.
  • Comfort with the tooling of the work, including CRM and ticketing systems.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional organization. This role runs multiple programs with different rules at the same time, and the details are the job.
  • You reach out before the client has to ask.
  • The ability to hold a professional conversation with a home office contact and answer at the right level of detail.
  • The judgment to know when to decide and when to elevate, and no hesitation about escalating.
  • Genuine follow-through. You close loops without being chased.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing direction, and the instinct to write down what you figured out so the next person does not have to.

At FMG, we believe in the wholehearted acceptance of each other regardless of our differences. We strive to foster an environment that allows everyone to contribute to our mission in their unique ways. With the belief that diversity propels innovation, we are continually finding ways to cultivate a commitment to inclusion in our employees, services, and products, as well as in the communities in which we live and work.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, and genetic information.
