Job summary

Horizon3 is looking for a Customer Onboarding Engineer to own the first 30 days of a new customer deployment of the NodeZero platform. You will coordinate with sales and technical teams to ensure a successful production deployment in cloud environments.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to knowledge resources while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the broader Horizon3 team in post-onboarding activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in technical support, systems admin, cloud operations or enterprise implementation.
• Strong cybersecurity background including SOC 2, GDPR concepts.
• Linux production administration and hardening.
• Docker and containerization with Kubernetes or similar.
• Cloud providers AWS/Azure/GCP and IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding process from kickoff to go-live for new customers.
• Project-manage the 30-day onboarding plan, tracking blockers and changes.
• Diagnose and resolve deployment issues across cloud, networking, and security.
• Work in Linux production environments and optimize configurations.
• Deploy containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
