Job summary

Employees Retirement System of Texas seeks a Network Administrator to perform routine to senior-level network duties within the Network Services Team. Responsibilities include administering data networks, UC systems, and security devices across data center, backbone, edge, and office environments, under supervision.

The role requires planning, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise networking initiatives, with opportunity to lead complex projects and mentor staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in data processing, CS, or MIS or related field; equivalent technical schooling plus experience.
• 3+ years in enterprise data network administration or similar roles.
• Experience with data center, backbone, edge networks and UC systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor enterprise network infrastructure end-to-end.
• Manage network security devices including firewalls and filtering systems.
• Support telecommunications and UC solutions, including videoconferencing and mobile devices.
