Job summary

Presidio, a leader in digital solutions, seeks a Network Engineer to support clients across the Tri-State area. You will assist with deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of data and security networks, and work with senior engineers on larger projects.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of hands-on networking experience, Cisco-based environment familiarity, and strong communication skills to engage with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on network infrastructure experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
• Cisco-based environments experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with network and security deployments including staging, installation, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Configure routing, switching, and security platforms based on established designs and best practices.
• Support network discovery activities and document client environments.
• Create and maintain implementation documentation, diagrams, and deployment notes for clear communication.
• Work with sales engineers, project managers, and senior engineers to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Diagnose and resolve network and security issues during deployments and post-implementation support.
• Assist with maintenance procedures and network updates both remotely and onsite as required.
