Job summary

Presidio, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to lead project-based network and security engagements for our client base. The role involves design, implementation, and customer acceptance of complex networks, with travel up to 25%.

The ideal candidate has strong routing/switching expertise, cloud networking experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and hands-on use of Palo Alto and Cisco security products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

Experienced with complex multi-protocol routing and switching.
Ability to design IP addressing and networks, and redistribute protocols.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common ports/services.

Responsibilities

Perform project-based engineering, design, staging, installation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of data/security networks.
Lead complex, large-scale Network and Security projects.
Create low-level detailed designs aligned with business strategy and budgets.
Conduct network discoveries and assessments.
Present documentation and engagement deliverables to customers.
Collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, PM and other delivery resources.
Troubleshoot complex issues and assist junior engineers.
Implement secure network solutions and execute on-site/remote maintenance.
