Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in a large government organization.
• Eight (8) years in complex infrastructure with hands‑on Cisco gear.
• Five (5) years with network monitoring software (Netscout, SolarWinds).
• Three (3) years in data center operations and hardware management.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud networking with AWS integration.

Responsibilities

• Install and monitor Cisco devices and provide data center support.
• Lead NOC-style shift with on-site and occasional Ashburn, VA coverage.
• Troubleshoot IPv4, OSPF/BGP/EIGRP, VLANs, ACLs, and WAN connectivity.
• Manage upgrades, patching, and interoperability with AWS networking.
• Document designs, SOPs, and implementation plans for on‑prem and AWS.
• Provide training to junior engineers and support after‑hours incidents.
