Job summary

Presidio, a leader in digital solutions, seeks an Architect to design, install, and troubleshoot data, wireless and security networks for medium to large environments. You will deliver comprehensive design docs and hands-on implementation, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure secure, high-performance networks.

Travel up to 30% to client sites in Florida. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in network engineering, Cisco-focused experience, and cloud networking expertise (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering and network design.
• Cloud Networking (AWS experience required or relevant Azure experience)
• 3 years of related experience with project deliverables from a VAR/Integrator
• Knowledge and experience with implementation, support and design of: Firewalls/VPNs, Wireless networks, Routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Working with the engineering team to successfully architect and lead the implementation of secure network solutions
• Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks
• Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in medium to large environments
• Wireless configuration and deployment in medium to large environments
• Provide network engineering consulting services, including assessment, and implementation of complex data and secure networking environments
• Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively perform the implementation process from initial implementation to customer acceptance
• Deliver services that offer an exceptional client experience
