Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex networks, from design through deployment and upgrades. You will analyze network characteristics, troubleshoot issues, and support Zero Trust architecture efforts.

The role includes implementing Forward Networks for inventory, maps, and vulnerabilities, and coordinating with the High Side enterprise model. Partial telework may be available.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and upgrade networks from design through deployment.
• Analyze designs, specs and related documents for network readiness.
• Implement and support Zero Trust Architecture capabilities.

Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyze designs, specifications, and related documents. Implement communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment. Analyze network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoot problems and recommend procurement of and/or modifications to network components. Support the “Know your Network” Zero Trust Architecture Capabilities. Responsible for implementing the Forward Networks commercial tool to capture, organize, and maintain all Mission Island network inventory, network maps, and associated vulnerabilities plus help integrate the inventory with High Side network enterprise model.

This position may allow for partial telework.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Required skills:

• Strong understanding of computer networking architecture (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Protocols, etc.)
• Proficiency with understanding configurations from multiple vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc
• Experience with Zero Trust related activities (hardening systems, customer ZT compliance requirements)
• Previous technical experience with system administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar
• Ability to read and understand system configuration files to verify correct ingestion into Forward Networks
• IAT Level 3 cert is required

Desired skills:

• Forward Networks/Redseal experience or comparable network modeling tool
• Networking certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent
