Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Director, Inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity, to provide physician leadership for the CDI program across the enterprise. The role ensures accurate health records, supports appropriate reimbursement, and drives quality outcomes through collaboration with CDI leaders, medical staff, and revenue cycle teams.

The position is a 0.75 FTE, full-system responsibility, reporting to the VP of Clinical Documentation Integrity, with opportunities to advance

Qualificações

• MD/DO board-certified physician with CDI leadership potential.
• Post-residency leadership/quality management training preferred.
• Active board certification in a relevant clinical specialty.
• Active physician advisor certification or achievable within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Perform expert second-level reviews for complex cases, including clinical validation and DRG determinations.
• Lead enterprise education and physician engagement to improve documentation practices.
• Oversee the CDI physician advisor program operations and reporting.
• Drive system-wide CDI strategy and standardize practices across sites.
• Lead audits, denials, and appeals processes with stakeholders.
• Promote compliant, ethical documentation aligned with AHIMA/ACDIS and CMS standards.
