Job summary

Honest Health is seeking a Vice President, Clinical Documentation Integrity to set enterprise CDI strategy and governance across the organization. You will oversee a broad CDI portfolio including prospective, concurrent, and retrospective work, coding quality, and provider education while advising senior leaders on opportunities and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, healthcare administration, nursing, business, or related field.
• Current CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA or equivalent credential required.
• 10+ years of progressive CDI, risk-adjustment coding, coding quality, or related healthcare operations
• 7+ years of people leadership, including leading leaders and multi-layered teams
• Demonstrated experience establishing enterprise CDI capabilities, governance, and performance-management
• Deep knowledge of CMS risk-adjustment coding, ICD-10 coding, auditing, and compliance standards
• Experience supporting value-based care organizations, provider organizations, health systems, or health plans
• Willingness to travel based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise CDI vision, strategy, governance, and capability roadmap.
• Oversee CDI portfolio: prospective, concurrent, retrospective documentation, coding quality, and provider education.
• Advise executive leadership on CDI opportunities, risks, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead enterprise CDI governance, performance standards, and partner engagement.
• Ensure CDI programs are scalable, compliant, and clinically relevant.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Clinical, and IT to manage risks and drive outcomes.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for CDI performance and adoption.
