Endeavor Health System is seeking a Medical Director, Inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity, responsible for expert reviews, education, and program leadership across the enterprise. You will drive documentation integrity, CDI initiatives, and physician engagement in a large multi-hospital system.

The role requires MD/DO, board certification, CDI certifications, and leadership experience. Flexible hours and systemwide coverage support quality and financial targets.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active board certification in a relevant clinical specialty
• CDI certification from AHIMA or ACDIS
• Experience as physician advisor with leadership responsibilities
• 2+ years in physician advisor role and CDI focus

Responsabilités

• Perform second-level reviews of complex cases including clinical validation and DRG determinations
• Educate and engage medical staff on documentation best practices
• Lead enterprise CDI physician strategy and program operations
• Oversee CDI performance metrics and reporting
• Lead responses to audits, denials, and appeals with stakeholders
• Promote compliant query and documentation practices
