Job summary

Magnific, a fast-growing AI platform, seeks a Commercial Legal Counsel - Enterprise (US) to support the North American Enterprise sales team from first redline to signature. You will negotiate enterprise SaaS and AI-related agreements and handle AI/IP risk in customer contracts while contributing to corporate matters.

This role reports to the Assistant General Counsel and aims to close deals quickly while balancing risk.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 2-5 years of professional legal experience (law firm and/or in-house).
• Hands-on enterprise sales experience: negotiating customer agreements, working directly with sales teams to close deals, and a solid command of commercial contract fundamentals.
• Ability to manage a high volume of deals in parallel, with sound judgment on what to resolve.
• Clear communicator who can explain legal risk in plain terms to non-lawyers.
• Nice to have: privacy experience, GDPR/CCPA/CPRA familiarity, AI contract issues, cross-border deals, experience at a SaaS or AI company.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day legal partner to the North American Enterprise sales team, supporting deals from first redline to signature.
• Draft, review and negotiate enterprise SaaS and AI-related agreements, including MSAs, NDAs and DPAs, following playbooks and escalation paths.
• Identify and address AI/IP risk issues in customer contracts, including copyright, indemnification, content licensing and rights in AI outputs.
• Work on various corporate matters across the business.
