Job summary

SoFi is seeking an experienced Learning & Development leader to shape our enterprise learning strategy and build a lean, agile team. This hands-on role requires guiding large-scale initiatives while partnering with senior leaders to drive real business impact.

You’ll design and implement modern learning experiences, own Workday Learning strategy, and establish standards that deliver measurable outcomes and an exceptional employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Significant L&D experience, including building or transforming an enterprise learning capability.
• Deep expertise in learning strategy and design; strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• Strong consulting skills with credibility to work with senior leaders on business needs.
• Experience designing learning with subject‑matter experts across functions.
• Strong judgment and prioritization to focus a lean team on what matters.
• Experience with enterprise learning technology, content, and vendors; focus on learner experience.
• Comfort working in ambiguity, balancing strategy and execution while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Define our enterprise learning strategy and build a lean, agile team to deliver it.
• Set clear priorities for where L&D can have the greatest impact.
• Build strong partnerships with learning teams across SoFi, connecting and strengthening existing expertise.
• Consult on complex learning and performance needs, identifying where learning can improve business outcomes.
• Lead learning strategy and experience design for enterprise initiatives with subject‑matter experts to create impactful learning.
• Set the Workday Learning strategy and our broader learning ecosystem.
• Establish standards, tools, and best practices for effective learning with a positive employee experience.
• Shape SoFi's approach to learning content and vendors, leveraging shared investments and external expertise.
• Use data and learner insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness and experience.
