Citi in Tampa, FL seeks a seasoned Senior Architectural and Engineering Lead to drive the design and execution of regulatory big data and core application frameworks. You will lead a high-performing team delivering scalable, enterprise-grade frameworks and modernize with AI/ML capabilities.

The role demands 10+ years in senior architecture, 5+ years leading large-scale initiatives in financial services, and deep Java/big data expertise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior architectural/engineering roles.
• 5+ years leading enterprise architecture initiatives in banking/financial services.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, reporting standards, and financial data structures.
• Hands-on Java platform expertise (Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot).
• Experience integrating AI/ML in big data/enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead core framework ownership for Java-based backbones of regulatory apps.
• Build and optimize big data pipelines with Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Databricks.
• Enforce high-throughput, low-latency Java development practices.
• Drive architecture governance via ARBs and architecture reviews.
• Collaborate with global teams across lines of business to align priorities.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
• Evaluate and design architectures for performance, security, scalability.
