Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Tier I/II technical support for enterprise IT systems supporting government and defense programs from Huntsville, Alabama.

The role requires troubleshooting across Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux endpoints, deploying devices, and ensuring a secure computing environment. You will support Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, VPN, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune while assisting with onboarding, asset inventory, and incident documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor in IT/CS preferred; equivalent military or industry experience may substitute.
• 2-5 years of enterprise IT support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, and basic Linux systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Experience with endpoint deployment and management solutions.
• DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and Wi-Fi basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II technical support for Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop and laptop systems.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktops, printers, and peripherals.
• Deploy and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and endpoint hardware.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, VPN, and collaboration tools.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot Active Directory and Entra ID user accounts and permissions.
• Support Microsoft Intune and endpoint management platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, authentication, and network connectivity issues.
• Image, configure, and deploy new endpoint systems while maintaining asset inventory.
• Escalate complex issues to senior infrastructure and cybersecurity staff.
• Assist with endpoint security, MFA, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support employee onboarding/offboarding activities.
• Document incidents and resolutions within the ITSM platform.
• Participate in after-hours support or on-call rotation as required.
