Job summary

VELCO, the nation’s first statewide transmission company, seeks an experienced Manager, IT Infrastructure to lead enterprise infrastructure strategy, ensuring secure, resilient, and highly available platforms for our transmission operations.

The role partners with Cybersecurity, SCADA, and Engineering to deliver modernization, governance, and regulatory compliance across data centers, cloud, networking, and storage. Excellent leadership and budget skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical discipline is required.
Minimum seven years of progressive experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure.
Experience with regulated environments and NERC CIP compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning, architecture, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure and networking.
Supervise staff, contractors, and partners to meet infrastructure objectives.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, OT, and engineering to align investments with priorities.
Ensure reliability, security, and performance of LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud, and storage.
Develop standards, roadmaps, budgets, and vendor management for infrastructure.
