Job summary
Peraton is seeking a Technical Enterprise Incident Manager to lead enterprise incident response and drive reliability improvements across cloud platforms and on‑prem infrastructure. The role requires hands‑on experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate across vendor, network, security, and application teams.
The position may involve after‑hours on‑call rotation to support critical outages and production incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience with HS diploma.
- 5+ years in Cloud Incident Management, Operations Engineering, NOC, SRE, Production Support.
- Experience leading enterprise Major Incident response in a 24x7 environment.
- Strong ITIL Incident and Problem Management knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Incident bridge calls across multiple teams.
- Drive rapid service restoration with clear timelines and executive updates.
- Prioritize incidents by business impact and risk; manage escalations.
- Monitor SLA compliance and ensure incident metrics are met.
- Develop and maintain runbooks and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate to improve communication, escalation paths, and workflows.
