Job summary

UF Health seeks a Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) & Document Scanning & Imaging Operations to lead and optimize enterprise-wide imaging, scanning, indexing, and record capture. This role ensures timely, accurate conversion of documents into the EHR while maintaining regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership for imaging workflows, vendor management, QA, staffing, and process improvement, collaborating with clinical, IT, and HIM leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide document imaging, scanning, indexing, and record capture operations across all UF Health sites.
• Standardize and optimize imaging workflows and data capture processes.
• Oversee vendor management, QA, staffing, productivity, and technology optimization.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, compliance, revenue cycle, and HIM leaders to ensure enterprise-wide consistency.
