Job summary

UF Health Gainesville seeks a Manager of Health Information Management to lead enterprise HIM operations, including ROI, record integrity, patient identity, and chart correction workflows. This leader ensures EHR accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across UF Health facilities and affiliates.

The role collaborates with clinical, legal, privacy, revenue cycle, Epic, and quality teams to implement standardized enterprise processes that support patient safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HIM or related field required.
• RHIA or RHIT required; CHP/CHPC preferred.
• Epic experience mandatory; knowledge of ROI and privacy regulations helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise-wide HIM functions including ROI, chart correction, record completion and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements across EHRs and records governance.
• Partner with clinical, legal, privacy, revenue cycle, Epic, and quality teams to standardize processes.
