Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Field Engineer to partner with enterprise customers, guiding Proofs of Concept, and demonstrating the value of Cursor’s AI-enabled engineering workflows. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions and present technical strategies to CTOs and engineering leaders.

You’ll translate client requirements into actionable designs, build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders, and help drive adoption and roadmap influence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and executive presence.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business impact.
• Hands-on with AI tooling and debugging complex environments.
• Experience collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and PoC engagements with customers.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers.
• Translate customer requirements into solution designs and rollout plans.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and workshops.
• Advise internally on customer needs and feed back to product/engineering.
• Coordinate with post-sales teams for smooth onboarding and expansion opportunities.
