Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Operations Data and Digital Transformation Lead to bridge Operations and IT/DBT as we transition to Oracle Fusion across Albuquerque and Germantown sites. The role drives operational transformation, ensuring core processes in program management, data governance, finance, supply chain, and manufacturing are integrated in the new ERP system.

The ideal candidate brings defense/aerospace experience with government contracts, cost accounting, and full lifecycle program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related discipline required
• At least 8 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• 8+ years related experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
• Completion of Oracle certifications/classes and APICS certifications
• Demonstrated project management skills and portfolio management principles

Responsibilities

• Manages design sessions in prototyping new systems to enhance business processes and data flow
• Reviews and analyzes current systems and develops strategies to improve or leverage them
• Sets operational objectives and work plans; delegates assignments to subordinates
• Interacts with senior management on matters across several functional areas and customers
• Implements strategic policies for methods, approaches, and evaluation criteria
• Ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance requirements
• Maintains cross-functional collaboration and fosters business partnerships
