General Motors seeks an Energy and Water Optimization Leader to drive enterprise conservation initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role partners with corporate energy strategy and plant sites to reduce utility use, lower costs, and support decarbonization goals.

You will lead programs, develop EPC pipelines, and manage projects with a focus on energy performance and continuous improvement, including DOE 50001 Ready and ENERGY STAR.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in energy and water management.
• Strong project management and financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of utility systems, industrial processes, and energy management practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute energy and water conservation strategies across manufacturing facilities.
• Lead energy and water intensity reduction programs and enterprise sustainability initiatives.
• Develop business cases for conservation projects and EPCs; support funding approvals.
• Coordinate utility rebates and incentives and deploy best practices across sites.
• Monitor consumption trends and track savings and targets; collaborate with analytics teams for reporting.
