General Motors LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer to champion air, water and waste compliance programs at an assembly plant, developing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges and guiding continuous improvement across site operations.

You will work cross functionally, engage with regulators, and contribute to GM’s Vision of Zero while operating onsite with travel <25% and relocation benefits for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related science.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related field, with knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements, including air permitting, stormwater permitting, hazardous waste generator requirements, and/or other environmental media.
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects.
• Ability to self-motivate and thrive in an independent work setting.

Responsabilidades

• Focus on driving consistent environmental stewardship programs at an assembly plant.
• Engage with local regulatory agencies and develop creative solutions to environmental challenges.
• Utilize technology to develop and maintain environmental management systems and monitor progress for continuous improvement.
• Interface with business partners and regulatory agencies to prepare regulatory documentation and reports.
