Job summary

Replit is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with large enterprise customers, embedding with teams to design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and integrations. You’ll own technical deployments, navigate security and data constraints, and drive production adoption across customer environments.

You’ll collaborate with product and engineering to translate field needs into robust platform capabilities, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills across unfamiliar codebases, APIs, and environments
• Hands-on work with LLM applications in production: retrieval, tool calls, and evals
• Experience designing and owning complex technical systems from architecture to production
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive projects independently
• Strong technical communication skills with customers or cross-functional partners
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Build with customers to design and deploy high-impact enterprise applications on Replit
• Architect secure, scalable integrations with customers’ stacks
• Integrate Replit with data warehouses, APIs, and internal systems
• Own deployments and drive production adoption, debugging blockers
• Bridge feedback from field to product and engineering teams
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering for high-quality experiences
• Ship iteratively based on customer feedback and usage data
• Create templates, playbooks, and product requirements from field patterns
