Job summary

Factory is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to drive AI-enabled software development initiatives for enterprise customers. You will lead customer implementations, tackle engineering challenges in diverse codebases, and deliver projects from discovery to production, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams to build repeatable playbooks and new tooling.

You will own technical delivery, working directly with customer engineers and leaders to turn deployment lessons into product

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of software engineering experience in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
• Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases and ecosystems.
• Strong debugging and production issue-resolution skills.
• Clear, trusted communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Factory in customer environments, designing integrations and workflows.
• Serve as the technical lead on engagements, solving engineering problems for customers.
• Deliver migrations, modernization, and refactoring projects in complex production systems.
• Diagnose issues in unfamiliar codebases and adapt implementations to customer needs.
• Build tooling and documentation to help customers adopt Factory and sustain deployments.
• Translate customer insights into improvements for Product and Engineering teams.
• Spend time on-site with customers, roughly monthly within your region.
