Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Enterprise Architect, Data Platform to define and govern the company-wide data architecture strategy and roadmap. You will collaborate with business leaders and technology teams to build scalable, secure data platforms enabling AI, analytics, and enterprise decision-making.

The role requires 12+ years in enterprise tech, with 5+ years in enterprise or senior data architecture, and experience across multi-cloud environments. Hybrid work at Glendale, WI is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology and data architecture.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Architect or Senior Data Architect roles.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
• Experience leading architecture initiatives across multiple business domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data platform vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead architecture across Data Lakehouse, Real-Time Streaming, Data Mesh, and Data Product Architectures.
• Define standards for batch/real-time processing, APIs, data contracts, and data governance.
• Partner with security, governance, and IT teams to ensure secure, compliant architectures.
