Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an Enterprise Architect, Data Platform, to define and govern the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap. You will lead data platform architecture across data lakehouse, streaming, and data mesh, while guiding cloud adoption and governance practices.

You will collaborate with business leaders, security, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective data platforms that enable AI initiatives and enterprise decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology and data architecture.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Architect or Senior Data Architect roles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
• Experience leading architecture initiatives across multiple business domains and technology organizations.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, Snowflake SnowPro Advanced, CDMP, SAFe Architect are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Lead data platform architecture across data lakehouse, real-time streaming, and data mesh.
• Establish standards for data governance, security, and data integration.
• Guide cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Mentor architects and influence technology leaders across the organization.
