Job summary

American Family Insurance is offering a Summer 2027 Intern position in Enterprise Data - Enablement, Service & Support in Madison, WI. The 10–14 week program starts mid to late May and provides hands-on experience with data pipelines, data-driven apps, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will perform exploratory data analysis, prototype emerging technologies, build scalable data workflows, and contribute to data quality checks while reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Graduating August 2027 or later.
• Major aligned with internship role.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience using data stores (RDBMS, analytic databases, etc.).
• Hands-on programming experience in Python or Java, focusing on ETL workflows.
