Waystar in the United States is seeking a Data Enablement + Governance Manager to lead our enterprise-wide data governance strategy and practices. You will ensure data is accurate, secure, and used responsibly, shaping standards, policies, and accountability models across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data governance, information management, business, or related field; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in data analytics, data quality, or enterprise information management.
• Experience with data governance frameworks, stewardship models, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Proficiency with governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a scalable data governance strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Define and enforce enterprise-wide data quality standards across units.
• Create and maintain data governance artifacts: policies, data dictionaries, lineage, metadata repositories.
• Collaborate with data owners to develop access controls and lifecycle policies.
• Drive adoption of data governance platforms and tools to support workflows and automation.
• Track data governance metrics and report progress to executives.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and evolve the program to meet emerging needs.
