Job summary

Akron Children's seeks an Enterprise Data and Analytics Solution Architect to lead the analytics architecture strategy and drive scalable, high-performance data solutions. You will collaborate with clinicians, business partners, data scientists, and IT to align the analytics platform with hospital needs and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes Epic data strategies, data governance, and governance, with hands-on leadership of architecture and emerging technologies to advance ACH's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, information services, or healthcare.
• Five+ years of data engineering and analytics experience.
• Two years of data and analytics architecture experience preferred.
• Master's degree in analytics/computer science, healthcare, or business preferred.
• Certification: None required; cloud, Epic Cogito, Microsoft Fabric preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and data consumers to define analytics requirements and strategic architecture.
• Define the future reference architecture, roadmaps with timelines, costs, and technologies.
• Support best practices for data governance, security, and quality.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability of data/analytics platform.
• Oversee data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large data volumes.
• Lead the analytics data triage process to ensure reference architecture is used for each solution.
