Job summary

MSD Malaysia is seeking an Associate Director to lead Enterprise Context & Data Foundations, accelerating value from enterprise data for analytics, AI, Copilots, and agentic products. You will bridge business, product, and technology teams, defining semantic models, metadata, and reusable context to empower trusted decision-making.

The role focuses on governance, business definitions, and scalable data foundations, partnering with domain teams to enable AI-enabled outcomes across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading data, analytics, business intelligence, product, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience working across business and technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, and AI ecosystems.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience translating business objectives into scalable data and AI capabilities.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for Enterprise Context and Data Foundations.
• Enable enterprise adoption of AI, Copilot, and agentic solutions through trusted business context.
• Lead the creation and governance of semantic models, business metrics, and reusable context.
• Partner with Data Product Owners to ensure foundational data products are discoverable and trusted.
• Cross-functional leadership across business, analytics, product management, architecture, governance, and engineering.
