Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, Enterprise Context & Data Foundations to accelerate value from enterprise data by establishing semantic and contextual foundations that power analytics and AI across the company.

You will bridge business stakeholders, product teams, and technology, defining business meaning, metadata, ontologies, and knowledge assets while guiding adoption and business alignment at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading data, analytics, BI, product, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience working across business and technology organizations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, and AI ecosystems.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Enterprise Context and Data Foundations strategy.
• Enable adoption of AI, Copilot, and agentic solutions through trusted business context.
• Lead governance of semantic models, metrics, and reusable business concepts.
• Ensure foundational data products are discoverable, trusted, and consumable.
