Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams, serving as the customer’s primary technical partner and trusted advisor. You will troubleshoot questions, lead proofs-of-concept, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions that address business challenges, driving the technical win and defining delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executives.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participating in planning and supporting targeted sales motions.
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture to prove the value of Google Cloud through complex demos and workshops.
• Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers.
• Facilitate post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and handover to delivery teams.
• Maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan and assist cross-functional teams through ramp and migration phases.
